🔹 Legacy & Contributions

The story of Global Compassion Foundation (GCF) is deeply intertwined with the remarkable journey of our President, whose dedication to the Chakma community has been unwavering for decades.

Early Struggles & Dedication

Starting in the late 1990s, with nothing more than a Kepad Nokia phone and the first internet access he could get in 1995, he worked tirelessly to connect with people around the world. Day and night, he built networks, gathered knowledge, and sought ways to uplift his community.

Through these early efforts, he established the first Ahimsa English School, creating a foundation for quality education. In 2016, he went on to establish the Mahabodhi Residential School, a visionary project dedicated to empowering Chakma children.

Tenure at UTPM Society & Mahabodhi Residential School

During his time with UTPM Society and Mahabodhi Residential School, he accomplished remarkable milestones that left a lasting legacy:

Challenges & Resilience

Despite these achievements, his journey faced painful setbacks. Due to corruption, misuse of funds, and the restrictive monarchy-style governance of the founder president of UTPM and Mahabodhi Residential School, he was compelled to resign from both the society and the school he had helped build.

A New Chapter with GCF

Undeterred by these challenges, our President has happily and independently embarked on a new chapter by founding Global Compassion Foundation. His mission remains steadfast: working for the development and empowerment of underprivileged and marginalized Chakma children, providing them with opportunities, education, and hope for a brighter future.

This journey, marked by hardship, dedication, and unwavering compassion, continues to inspire everyone at GCF. It is a story of resilience, hope, and the relentless pursuit of education, social justice, and community empowerment.
