At Global Compassion Foundation, education is the cornerstone of our mission. As a newly formed organization, we are taking the initiative to establish a value-based, inclusive school for the marginalized and underserved indigenous Chakma children of Mizoram.

The school, named Global Compassion Academy, will provide holistic education from Nursery to Class 10, focusing on academic excellence, ethical values, and overall development. Our goal is to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive, regardless of their circumstances.

Why This Project Matters

Many children in remote Chakma communities are forced to discontinue their studies due to:

• Long and unsafe travel distances

• Lack of hostel facilities

• Financial hardship

• Inadequate infrastructure and limited teaching resources

• Safety and sanitation concerns, especially for girls

Each year, bright and capable students are denied the opportunity to continue their education—not because of lack of ability, but because access is missing.

1. Land purchase, leveling, and site preparation for the school campus

2. Construction of classrooms and administrative facilities

3. Separate hostels for boys and girls to provide safe accommodations

7. Learning materials, textbooks, and educational resources

As a newly registered organization, we are in the process of completing all legal and financial formalities to become fully compliant, including PAN card registration, bank account setup, Darpan ID, 12A, 80G, CSR registration, and other necessary documentation. During this initial phase, we humbly invite individual support to help start the school and serve the children immediately.
